Gregory Adamian and Robert B. Harkness receive Bentley College charter, 1971.

Bentley College President Gregory H. Adamian (C) receives the new State Board of Higher Education charter for the college from Secretary of State John F.X. Davoren (L) at presentation ceremonies held at the campus' Lindsay Hall Auditorium Monday, April 5. Mr. Robert B. Harkness, vice chairman of the Bentley Board of Trustees looks on. The new charter authorizes Bentley College to institute an expanded degree-granting curriculum this Fall. Incoming Freshmen will have an opportunity to major in bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, and associate in science programs in addition to the two or four year concentrations in accounting in which Bentley has concentrated for over 50 years.
